Tasting Provence Wines
The wine produced in the area of Aix is labelled Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, Sainte-Victoire or Palette. In the three appellations, you find red, white and rosé wines.
In this tour, we visit one domaine in the morning and two in the afternoon. In each winery, we visit the vineyard, the cellars and we sample six different wines. Our guide Joel Corre, professor of oenology, will teach you the technique of professional wine tasting.
At noon, we can have lunch in a typical, local restaurant or a friendly picnic at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain.
According to the availability of the owners, we visit the following domaines, which produce the best wines of the three appellations:
Beaupré, Grand Seuil, Saint-Ser, Richeaume, Revelette, Vignelaure, Simone.
