On the tongue, the wine speaks

Congratulations and many thanks to my friend Joël Corre, who is the ambassador of the French vintage wines.

In a friendly and cosy atmosphere, he simply pours the greatest wines of France, with thousand information on the vineyard, which he knows like the palm of his hand, and on the winegrowers, who are his friends.

A highly educative and most enjoyable course, which I recommend strongly to all the wine lovers who want to learn professional tasting and the right words to talk about wine.

Guy Lachaize, Aix-en-Provence.

Wine and Music

Clos Vougeot 1993 : A symphony of flowery and spicy fragrances, with crystalline notes which dance on the palate and melt into majestic chords...

As a lyric artist, I discover in the great wines the same richness and the same subtlety as in the music of Mozart. Soft attack, lively and playful evolution, followed by a grand, blasting final. As for the persistence, it is unforgettable.

Thousand thanks, dear Master, for this delightful weekend of November 2004. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to André Perret, for his most cherished Condrieu 2000.

Alexandre Lomov, Marseille.

Voluptuous Mazy-Chambertin 1990

We would like to thank you, Aline and I, for the delicious weekend we spent at the Institute of Œnology, in autumn 2004.

We had no idea that we would learn so much in only two days. A highly memorable experience, with the Grands Crus flavours printed forever on our taste buds, especially the voluptuous Mazy-Chambertin 1990.

And what a lovely surprise to discover on the site, the next morning, this beautiful portrait of Aline relishing the bouquet of her 1990 Calon-Ségur. She is so proud of it !

Delicious from first sip to last drop...

Joel, on October 21, you came to dinner at the Hotel Aquabella with a group from the University of California. Thanks to you, I brought home a Chambertin 1993 and a Clos de Vougeot 1990. Last week-end, my husband and I shared them with a couple who are wine lovers and wine collectors.

We all thoroughly enjoyed both wines ; there were happy taste buds all around... We started with the Chambertin. It just got better and better the more it breathed. Then we opened the Clos de Vougeot. This was my favorite, delicious from first sip to last drop.

Please tell the grower, Henri Rebourseau, bravo and keep up the good work.

Mary Neville, Long Beach, California.
